ABOUT

Marcin Motyl is a multidisciplinary artist and performer working across movement, video, and installation. Rooted in choreographic thinking, his practice explores how the body is mediated through digital technologies and live transmission. Blending realism and surrealism, he creates immersive works that expand the experience of performance beyond physical space.

Exploring the interplay of body, camera, and choreographic thought, his work operates at the intersection of physical and virtual spaces — where perception becomes fluid and identity continuously reshaped. We live in a time where streaming platforms and constant surveillance — from CCTV to reality shows — redefine visibility. In this context, his practice becomes an inquiry into what it means to be seen, performed, and remembered.
